During the past few month, there has been a lot of of fuss surrounding loot boxes. And, as a result of that, in Belgium and The Netherlands, CS:GO players no longer have access to loot boxes. It is because loot boxes are in a violation of the country's gambling laws. The deadline to do something about this is June 20, and Valve reacted in time so they do not have any legal troubles.
Belgium did something similar, but it also effects other games, like Overwatch and FIFA 18. However, Belgium did not set a date until when the Loot boxes have to be regulated.
Some players will probably get frustrated over this, while other probably won't even care. It will not be a surprise if other countries do the same.
