It is a challenging new game with an interesting plot and lots of intriguing mini-games that make Affair Bureau a whole lot of fun. It all begins when a pretty woman visits former police officer Alex’s office and leaves her business card. A hidden object game ensues in the wake of Alex’s investigations regarding this mysterious woman’s whereabouts. The basic game involves spotting items from a cluttered scene. The game-play is untimed and there are no penalties for too many random clicks here and there. Hints are available in unlimited numbers but they take a while to recharge. There are loads of locations ranging from roof tops to subway tunnels and you have to scour through each to unearth clues by discovering the hidden items. Then there are fun mini-games that blend in nicely with the story and you step into the world of forensics. The puzzles there really test your skills and they deal with a variety of tasks. Try matching cells in a microscope, rigging a fuse box by connecting the electrical currents or picking a lock by rotating the knobs to the correct settings. Every one of them is presented in a unique style and is thoroughly enjoyable. The graphics are lively and attractive and adds to the addictive atmosphere in the game. |
