Aveyond - Lord Of Twilight

The first in the Aveyond Series, Lord of Twilight is about Mel an orphaned thief. Her family is under the spell of a dark prophecy and she is being hunted by vampires. It is a part of role playing games where you need to stop the vampire lord from plunging the world into darkness. When you play game it involves wandering through various towns and the surrounding countryside, which includes forests, mountains, bog, and even snowy terrain and talking to interesting characters to gather clues and help you in your quest of discovering the treasure or purchasing equipments. Campaign is turn-based and there are no random battles. The encounters are more about strategy than action and if you fall in battle, the game saves your progress and lets you resume from where you left off. The game has three levels of difficulty to choose from and thus appeals to a wider gamut of gamers: from amateur to the experienced. The graphics in the game is vibrant and rich and the soundtrack blends perfectly with the epic atmosphere. It is a lovely new offering from Amaranth Games and would not disappoint Aveyond fans with its trademark thrilling role-playing adventure.
