Campfire Legends - The Hookmanis a hidden object adventure game for fans of horror. It has its own unique twists. This is a different game where you have point and click section and scenes of hidden objects. In the Hookman you will play as Christine Lewis. She has just arrived at her parent’s cabin for a romantic weekend with her boyfriend, Patrick. He’s late and she is in the dark and tries to figure what is happening around her. This is very scary game, where you can find yourself is a situation where cats are jumping out at you without reason. As you play the game, you might feel like you’re experiencing it too. There are hidden objects you need to find. Hidden objects aren’t always hidden in one area but rather they are spread out. Each of hidden objects has its own purpose. To find them you move from location to location using your mouse. For example, when mouse points over a doorway, and arrow appears indicating that you can move to another area. Then your mouse can become a magnifying glass and then you’re able to examine that object or corner of the room to explore it. Here you can read a message or book inside a desk drawer. However, this game isn’t just about finding hidden objects. There are puzzles to solve too. For, example, you can be given to reassemble torn paper and broken windows. These puzzles aren’t very easy to solve. You will need to use your brain. There are hints in the game, and they are unlimited. Hints come in the form of fireflies. Picking them will allow you to save them and use them later. They can be used as hints telling you where to go or telling you where to go to find a hidden object. You’ll go from location to location to find objects. You’ll be on a quest of finding supplies to repair a radio, finding missing pieces for a puzzle, etc… Using a magnifying glass means you can click for a closer view and add an item to your inventory. When you collect all the items you can drop them from the inventory onto the puzzle you’re working on. The game is all about to scare you and it can be very effective. You can find yourself in a situation while you’re playing you can get so scared that you can jump out of the chair, like crows can take a flight suddenly. This game adds stunning soundtrack great artwork and amazing detailed environment. The characters are quite expensive and their faces can show real terror and frustration, and sound effects and music make all of this much scarier. If you’re a fan of scary movies hidden object games this is a game for you, though it doesn’t last long. The game doesn’t feature much replay value but you can go back and enjoy the story again. Through it doesn’t last long there is good news. This is the first of the trilogy. This is a realistic story about a girl in a spooky thriller. Perhaps you will enjoy it, perhaps not, but the demo is there to decide and see for yourself will it scare you until your bones shake from fear…
