SheepArcade editor's review: Farm Craft You'd think that Farm Craft is just another planting-watering-picking plants game but when you start playing it you get absolutely positively surprised. The story is different from the usual ones in these kinds of games. You are Ginger, talented farmer who fights with the mischievous factory which causes many troubles that you have to prevail. This farming game is more of a strategy game since you have to be prudent and figure out what to do first so that you don't have more trouble with the farm than you should in the future. For example you have to have crops to feed the stock, but if you don't have enough space for the crops you might need to move the building and if you don't have enough money to do this than you’ll be facing the problem. Deciding what to do with the earnings is not easy either – what is smarter to do - buy a license to raise the chicken – but then you'll need money to buy chicken and the money to build storehouse for eggs, but the storehouse needs space on your farm and you need space to raise corn to feed the chicken or to hire a farmhand? Farmhands are very useful if you know how to use them but if you don’t then they might be in the way of your long click chains. In every level you get a new goal and tasks. Sometimes you need to grow four exotic plants for the County Fair and impress the judges and get the trophies. Beautiful and detailed graphics convey important information about what’s happening on your farm so you can plan in advance and act before warnings pop out. Money goals and task goals are brilliantly mixed and you have to balance everything in order to succeed. But it’s not easy finding the right balance and that’s what makes this game Farm Craft from Nevosoft and Positive Games so complex and interesting. |
