Ghost Town Mysteries - Bodie

This game is set in a real ghost town and revolves around the central character of a ghost-a young girl who was killed violently after she witnessed a crime. All the twelve witnesses to the girl's murder have also been killed. You play the role of a reporter who comes into the town to investigate the crimes committed and you have 12 different stories to explore. The game-play involves object finding and hunting for clues from dimly lit and spooky scenes. You have a torch for help and can also use colors and lines to find objects. There are mini-games which require you to piece together the tombstones of murder witnesses. There are some find-the difference games too for added fun. The hint system in the game is a unique concept which is represented by two trained spiders that you can carry with you. They would help you find objects in the dark and once you have used both the hints, you'd have to spot six flies in a scene before you get more hints. The game-play is untimed and you can do a lot of random clicking without being penalized much except for the game freezing for a few seconds. The photorealism is nice and the animations and cutscenes are a visual treat. The addictive story and an ingenuous concept challenges and engrosses you into the game-play. Inspired by true events, this game makes a great adventure.
