SheepArcade editor's review: Mortimer Beckett and the lost king is all about getting peace back to the magical kingdom of Zantya. The king of the land has been missing and everything is in a state of utter chaos. Kit is upon Mortimer to embark on yet another hidden object challenge and help in bringing back the King and his crown jewels. The game is divided into eight chapters and you would be meeting strange characters all along the game. The basic objective here though is to fulfill the chapter goals and collect a certain number of jewel pieces. Once you gather them all, you would need to find out a way to move out of the place and get on with the next level. Some items that you collect during each level can go into your inventory and can be used to solve puzzles later. The hint system is rechargeable and there are mini-games in between levels that add variety to the gameplay. The premium edition features a step by step strategy guide that contains with level-by-level hints and tips, plus the bonus game: Mortimer Beckett and the Lost King Jigsaw. These bonus features are only there in the premium edition. The game has fully animated cutscenes between the chapters of this awesome adventure. |
