Dreamsdwell, a little land which the inhabitants would like to call their own. It doesn't matter if you're good or bad, this is place for all magical beings where they all can live in harmony. To do so they need a town a place to live, but they need gold to build one. That's where you come in, you are the Magic Chainer, and as such, can collect gold and jewels by making chains. So you start you're quest. There must be at least a match 3 to get some gold, but why stop there? If you successfully match 5, 12, or 25 a bigger reward is waiting for you for example; Match 8 gives you a ruby, match 12 sapphire, match 18 emerald, and match 25 a diamante. The bigger the chain more gold for you. There is of course, a time limit because if you wait too long your orbs can freeze which requires additional matching to set them free. A level ends when all of the golden orbs are collected, but to collect them they also require near matching besides them. The golden orbs can go silver, so you must clear them to get to the gold one. There is also what you may call a 'joker card'. From time to time a multi-colored orb appears which allows you to change colors on the field. There are also explosion power-ups, who clear a certain number of orbs which are currently on the field. Through the game you build a village for you inhabitants, but you can't influence on anything that is built in that village. It's all predetermined, by the game. There are couple of residents that show up over time and they help you in collecting necessary gold for the village, but that doesn't impact much the game itself. The game graphics and sound is an average, nothing too excessive, but besides the matter of not being able to control the village's construction, a new form of match 3 could be something new and refreshing what we are searching for in future games. We will see maybe with Dreamsdwell Stories 2. Perhaps we get a number one seller if they just work on those details!
