Peace and harmony are few things that most of us are thriving to accomplish somehow in our lives. When someone is able to accomplish such a thing, and maintain it for a long time it almost makes you forget everything you needed to do to achieve such a thing. Our little Slime friends have done that exactly and they are now enjoying the fruits of that harmony, so only it could all be destroyed by invaders who want them as slaves. Slimes VS Monsters is the theme here, and now it is the fight for their freedom. So the battle begins and the battle ground is a grid with different slimes inside it. Actually the grid is the source of the power that you will use against the monsters. The match 3 field is the battlefield. To beat your enemies, you must defeat the complete Dark Alliance if you want to get rid of them. To get rid of the alliance, you must defeat all the six bosses separately and it won’t be an easy job. The fights between them are very intense and very strategically nicely done. You will be making soldiers for the fights through the match 3. You will need to match three of a kind slimes which will create a soldier that will fight for you and attack the enemy. The attack can be from both sides, and you have to be the stronger one in this battle if you want to bring back the peace that the Slime Army has already restored once. While you are creating your soldiers to attack the headquarters from the Monsters they defend from your attack but also start their own attacks against you. This kind of battles are sure to make you interested in the game as attack and defense strategies are constantly in your head and you are using them the best way you can. But as the game advances so does the games difficulty making every next boss stronger and meaner from the last one. The only way for you to deal with them is for you also to become stronger, and the best way for you to do that is right there in that Match 3 grid. Besides the different colors from the slimes in the grid, there are also different as some of them have accessories besides them. Those are power-ups for your slims that you will need very much in the later stages of the game. You will unleash powers like special magic, unique moves, and also increase of speed. There are though couple of things that are not quite done very well, in fact the slimes themselves are pretty close to each other in the matter of color. It doesn’t seems when you read are talk about it like this, but when you are matching many matches as fast as you can to make more and more soldiers than it is different. Besides the upgrade for your troops there is also the upgrade for your headquarters, but for this to be upgraded you must collect enough crystals. Besides those upgrades, you know that match 4 or 5 in every match 3 game means better results or better power-ups, depending on the manufactures type. In this game if you manage to match 4 slimes you will still get one soldier, but bigger and better. As it is hard to tell slime apart by colour it is good that the game gives you a hint about possible matches after a couple of seconds. When there are no more matches to be found a completely new randomised set of slime appear. The game offers additional Survivor mode which will destroy your mind completely if you aren’t prepared for this type of challenge. The games graphics is pretty beautiful taking all into consideration, but the part where it doesn’t shines are the battles. To summary everything with 36 levels, 6 bosses, their minions, match 3 challenges nice graphics, and some very nice details that concern the gameplay, we have a game with a great thought but which could use more polishing in every aspect of the game. It is nothing bad, but it is nothing too good, too. With a more little effort they would get a great game, which already gives about 10 hours of very nice gameplay, but if it had just a little bit more, it would have been a smashing hit.
