The basic object of the game is to turn all of the squares on the board the same color by matching three or more like tiles. You can select between squares and hexagons to play with and also choose the matching mechanic. As you go on matching and grouping together Incan artifacts, there are some obstacles that pose a threat like tiles bound in rope, frozen in ice, or boxed up in crates and more. As you clear the top of a grid, an object appears and you would need to make matches just below it in order to get that object. Once you collect four of such objects a new hidden object scene unfurls. There are four chapters in the game, each with 24 match-three game scenes to play interspersed with hidden objects game play. The lack of challenges and the difficulty level might seem to be a little basic for expert gamers. But the overall artistic design and presentation of the game are excellent. The insight into the Incan culture and the long lost civilization is a refreshing break and would really entertain any player. The wide variety in scenarios is also appealing and so is the ability to choose the matching technique to be used. The grids become slightly more complicated as the game progresses and there are power-ups available to help you wade through some of the tougher matches. The rich backgrounds, the vivid portrayal of the Incan culture, the storyline and the consistent pace of game flow will have players addicted to this game for hours.
