The Wizard's Pen

It is an amazing hidden object game from Pop Cap Games. It is a fun and cute casual game with plenty of puzzles and hidden object challenges. A wizard goes missing and you are entrusted the responsibility to find him. You are to go through the wizard's spell book and with your magical pen help reveal the pictures hidden in the blank pages. Upon clicking the blank pages, parts of an image start to materialize and you would need to guess the object in as few pen strokes as possible. The quicker you find the object, the more stars you get. Gathering enough stars unlocks the wizard's special sketchbook. Each book has its own hidden theme and special challenge puzzles like crumbled mosaics that become more organized, zoom-outs, abstracts and untwisting of the pictures to bring the objects into focus. A burning candle indicates the number of guesses you can make on a certain page. The variety of puzzles in the game helps to break the monotony and keeps the player entertained. There are over 20 books to be played with and each have 16 pages complete with hidden objects. As the game progresses you can discover magic potions which help you in wading through the books. They are power-ups like the power of perception which will let you see much larger blocks of the pages, or a crystal ball spell that will reveal a jumbled vision of the next few images you have to guess. It is surely a different concept in the hidden object game genre with a thoroughly enjoyable game-play. The graphics, art and background score are excellent with cute special effects to make it an addictive game.
