The theme of this game is very specific and its usage is not so often as far as I know. One of the examples I have heard about that can be matched to this one is from a movie I have watched long time ago about a man who traveled in past and using the 21st Century knowledge in the 12 or 13th I’m not sure. He contributed to the victory of an English castle against a skeleton attack. The relevance to the story of our game is put down only to the time travel as nothing else has even the slightest connection, but currently that’s the best I know of now. The story starts with a normal day in the amusement park as our hero of the story, who sounds and looks like just a regular punk, doing nothing all day and was feeling bored so he came to the amusement park. After sitting in the roller-coaster ride, the sudden twist of space time continuum transfers him back into the past. After realizing that he is in a totally different time and place and surrounded by people he doesn’t know he is suddenly treated as the liberator and almost divinity. A girl named Rainbow is the one that will show him around and tell him what is happening and why is he here. A legend told long time ago speaks of a stranger that will return everything to its rightful place and once again bring peace to the land and therefore end the misery of the innocent people.
Gameplay:
Jack is on its way to fulfill the needs of the people in suffering and he starts his mission in game with 39 levels. Everything in the game is connected to the timer and the timer dictates the successfulness that you will accomplish. There are many different goals in the game, so there isn’t a final goal so to speak. If there is one, it would probably be to reach the expert time in every challenge that stands before you. The gameplay of this game is probably much more different than the one you are normally accustomed to. This is because of the different type of pace that this game provides. Everything is done in a hurry, which will definitely make you mistake during the gameplay. When you start helping others you will need workers that will do your job, but workers also need conditions fulfilled if you want them to work properly. Basically what you need to do is make them happy and making them happy requires from you to feed them, throw in a couple of cocktails in between and a couple of breaks in between doesn’t hurt, especially if it is in the hot springs. Resources are the core of the game. Food comes from bushes, farms, mills, or fields, gold is provided by upgrading houses, regular rents, or occasional treasure chests/rewards. Wood, on the other hand, can be collected by cutting down trees or through a forester’s lodge. Each level has two or three objectives you'll need to complete before you can move on. But these are all resource management buildings and people need something more just then resources. The entertainment buildings like the theatre or fixing up a cocktail bar for those in between drinks, results in nice increase of the populations happiness. Another thing is that, clicking on the right building also means a nice amount of gold for you. On the beginning it is said that the game is played in a very fast pace, so the missions you have to fulfill constantly change and they aren’t that easy, especially if you want to fulfill the expert time. The goals that in general need to be fulfilled are collection of certain amount of resources, defeating enemies, repairing buildings, building monuments for the people, etc… But the game isn’t all time management and building, as there are parts of hidden object searches here too. This represented mostly because you are not the only thing that has been transported to the past from the future. There are a couple of different items that need your handling, although they are very rare. However the effect of these items can have a great influence on the whole game flow, as they can impact the workers to work better that is faster, making the whole process flow even faster. This part of the game is categorized in the special events that pop-up once, max twice at one level.
Graphics:
As for the graphics of the game, this one is a top notch. The gameplay is pretty much short because of its pace, but very engaging, however the graphics keeps up withal that and goes even further… The details that have been invested in the graphics and the games curves are simply great and don’t need some special explaining. Just so you know, the relaxing time and break time is easily distinguishable for an ordinary eye even without looking at the game itself. All together a great game that will meet a lot of expectations of its fans and also the players who try how it goes.
