The battle against the alien race known as the Insectus continues. After fighting off their advance on Earth, the theater of operations has shifted to other parts of the galaxy. But who knows what other devious plans they might have? It's up to you to track them down and blast them out of the universe for good. Blast your way through eight huge new missions featuring more than 100 waves of invading space insects. Use fantastic new weapons including the machine gun and flame thrower to go alongside your already deadly lasers and missiles. The year is 2743 and an alien race known as the Insectus is marching towards Earth. Many brave have perished in the battles but with newly crafted technology, there may yet be a chance to stop the invaders. Jump into the cockpit of your star defender and push them back from whence they came. Blast through eight huge missions featuring 100 total waves of invading space insects to get the job done. Use missiles, bombs, lasers, lightning, and many more power-ups to destroy the enemy. With a progressive bonus system, a wide array of spacecraft, and tremendous Boss battles, this is one space shooter you're certain to enjoy.

While working on a dig deep in the jungles of South America, Jane and her fellow archaeology students are taken hostage by armed rebels. Their professor has been kidnapped, and his prized artifact, the North Star has been stolen. Now its up to you to help the team escape their captors, then travel the globe to track down Professor Sky and recover the mysterious North Star. Your first mission is to save Janes expedition and rescue the local villagers from the dangerous rebels. Next you must travel to a seemingly deserted island in the Pacific and use your sleuthing skills to solve a troubling mystery. Then youre off to a remote African village, where you must help reveal the truth behind local superstitions as you race to find Professor Sky before its too late. Visit 50 beautifully detailed locations and tackle tricky mini-games as you put your archaeological talents to the test. The fate of Jane, Professor Sky and the North Star is in your hands!

Armada 2526 continues the great tradition of space opera games. You guide your race from its first interstellar journeys, until it becomes a mighty galactic empire. Along the way, you'll explore the galaxy, conduct research, diplomacy and trade, found new colonies, maneuver mighty star fleets, and fight epic battles.
Although the game is complex, and the possible strategies endless, powerful help and advisor features help you get up to speed quickly. Unlike many games in this genre, Armada 2526 focuses on providing a game that can be finished in a reasonable time, and emphasizes battle and strategy over economic micro-management.
The game consists of two sections. The Star Map is where you run your empire: manage your colonies, deploy your fleets, do research, and conduct diplomacy. It uses a turn based system, so you can take as long as you wish to plan your actions. However, once battle is joined, you switch to the battle module and fight it out in a real-time 3D system that brings to life the beauty and visceral carnage of space combat.
