Another game from the 'm up series. This is a dart game. In case you hadn't realized already. For all those people who live in caves, with computers, and don't know how you play darts, I shall explain now. For all those who know and don't live in caves, and still have computers, you can skip the next couple of lines. What you need to do, is AIM for the dartboard and try to hit it. The game is a good substitute for the real thing, for those who don't have a dartboard at hand and still wish to hurl some darts. The graphics are simply super darling and the background music is well suited to the flawless gameplay.

OK, I could make a long and boring review blabbing about every inch of this game (I personally like writing reviews...), but I'm just gonna go straight in and tell you whether this game is worth your time. The game really exceeds in presentation, cause the game is nicely put together, but I wished they would have spent more time working on the game play itself. Don't get me wrong, this game is Sonic, there's the Rings, Rings, Rings, oh, and the Rings, but there's one really important core element missing in this game... the speed. Sonic (or Shadow, depending on who you pick) get their full speed in a matter of seconds, but you cant keep it up for too long, cause you loose it just as quick. I couldn't help but feel I was playing a Super Mario game in fast forward, because its level design is more slow paced platforming that you'd expect for everyone's favorite plumber. There's no loops, no straight aways, rails, just primitive platforming. Don't get me wrong, this game has a lot to offer, such as things like a great story line, a cool Chaos system (every time you defeat a monster, you get a Chaos Emerald, use them to unleash special abilities unique to the Hedgehog your using). This game just evens itself out with a great concept, presentation, story, but non Sonic friendly level design and a tile set they could of done better with. If you're a Sonic fan (like myself) you wont be able to fight the urge of playing this game and trying to get around the sometimes frustrating game play. But, if you're not a fan of the blue Hedgehog, then, by all means, skip this game, its not the best platformer out there. Its just not

Super Mario Forever is EXACTLY the same as any other Mario game, except for one difference, it is made by one fan. The gameplay is better than any other 2D Mario game I've ever played on my PC but the only thing I don't like about it is not being able to save your game at a certain point of the game. (But which Mario game lets you do that anyway?) As usual, the point of the game is getting from one side of the level to the other and fighting a boss at the end of each world to proceed, the characters are the same but he's changed some of the characters names, like calling Bowser Kuppa King. The story is that Bowser has been destroying villages with his Koopa army and it's up to you to stop them (sounds simple but isn't). I especially like the sounds on this game as they sound exactly the same as any official Mario game and the graphics beat any 2D Mario game. So for this game I give two thumbs up and I recommend the game to any Mario fan.

Super Mario War is an entertaining Mario game where the object is to kill the other Mario players by jumping on top of them. The aim is to kill as many of the other Mario players as possible, as many times as possible. You can play against the computer as well. There is a maximum of 4 players. In this version, the creator has included a level editor which is a nice addition to the game. The controls are easy to master. For a Super Mario game, the graphics are good if a touch simple, and the sounds are very good. The game is quite fun when you have 3 other computer players. Some my find the game gets a bit tedious after a while.

Super Secret Ninja is a fun little side-scrolling platform game. You play as a ninja and have to sneak through an enemy outpost, completely undetected. Your only tool is your ninja rope which you use to swing from platform to platform. The ninja rope works the same as on games like Worms. You shoot out the rope, then use the left and right keys to gain momentum. The faster you move and the less times you are spotted by the guards the better. If you are detected by more than 10 guards or you move too slowly, you will die. The faster you complete the level, the more stars you will receive at the end of the level. Super Secret Ninja is actually very fun, but it took me a few tries to pass the first level because it was difficult to get used to the speed of the game.

I was first drawn to the Polish freeware game developers Buzoil Games when I played their Super Mario clone: Super Mario Forever and let me just say I'm now hooked to their clean professional style. In Bod Blob you play a delightfully cute blob (assumedly named Bod) whose aim is to push large concrete blocks over the edge of a number of ledges into the water below. However, most unfortunately, our friendly blob can't jump; this makes it difficult for him to complete his block shoving task. So what he lacks in brawn you must make up in intelligence, you have to arrange each goo driven heave so that you are able eventually get all the blocks in the water. This is no where as easy as it sounds and trust me this game does get really difficult. Bod Blob is another very well made professional from my new favorite Buzoil Games, I really recommend you download this one.
