7 days

This is the sequel to the point-and-click adventure thriller 5 Days a Stranger, so if you’ve played that, then you should have a good idea of what to expect from this game. 7 Days A Skeptic is set hundreds of years after the mysterious events of 5 Days a Stranger. In this game you play as Dr. Jonathan Somerset, psychiatrist on board a spaceship, the Mephistopheles, that is mapping the Caracus galaxy. The game really begins when the crew...

A Tale of two Kingdoms

A Tale of Two Kingdoms is an epic faerie tale, in the classic style of the famous Sierra and LucasArts graphical adventure games. It is a full-length game with an atmosphere of magic and intrigue. Featuring five different endings; several sidequests and alternative solutions; teamwork with non-player characters; 75 minutes of high quality music; and director's commentary. The ancient kingdom of Theylinn is beset by enemies both from within...

Aaargh

Aaargh! There's a giant monster coming to smash our village in search of those huge slices of pizza and fruit we've hidden... Most games put you in the role of the good guy, charging you with protecting the world, saving the princess or other such honorable deeds. Few are the games that encourage you to indulge your most homicidal and dark urges! It's a shame because given the chance to swap sides most games relish the opportunity. Just look...

Ahriman's Prophecy is one of the finest freeware RPGs ever created. The adventure spans several distant lands and is addicting as all get out. Fans of the classic Dragon Warrior, Final Fantasy and other original Nintendo 8 bit RPGs will quickly fall in love with this game. Airball

This is one old games - of the earliest isometric action games that is reminiscent of Marble Madness in look and feel, but with much more complex controls and gameplay. You've been turned into a ball (!) by an evil wizard, and must find the spellbook spell ingredients to turn back to human before the air runs out. Lots of traps and monsters give a strong RPG flavor to this essentially maze-navigating and trap-avoiding action game. Fun, and...

B A T

I remember this game back from the days of good old C64's - you know, the eighties, where there were tons of girls in wet T-shirts advertising beer and fast cars. I played it a lot, but without the manual I just didn't get the point. That's why I got (and supplied) the walkthrough together with the game. I didn't write it myself though - too lazy. B.A.T. is a mix between an RPG and an adventure. It puts you in a futuristic world where you,...

Bad Blood

Bad Blood is a post-apocalyptic RPG by Origin Systems. Once again, humans and mutants just don't get along. What makes this game a little different from most games of this type is that you're on the side of the mutants, and they actually want to avoid conflict. The game starts out with a meeting of creatures, in which they all learn the humans are gearing up to eradicate what they believe is a menace to society. Rather than to go to war, the...

Betrayal At Krondor

Betrayal at Krondor is a fantasy adventure/role-playing game that takes place in the Midkemia world of the books by Raymond E. Feist. In fact, Feist was the leading director in the creation of the game. It came out with an amazing story, which will pull you deeper and deeper into the game as you progress. When you start, you will see that Gorath, the elf-like Moredhel, and one of the leading persons in the game's story have been attacked by...

Burntime

Very civilized society has 3 stages in its cycle – its ascend, heyday and downfall. The downfall may come quickly, possibly due to a war or natural disaster. In Burntime the cause is not named, but as the game begins, you find yourself in a deserted world within the remnants of what once must have been a flourishing civilisation. It is a genre mix of strategy and RPG elements, which combines the best parts of both gaming worlds. The game...

Cave Story

A Nostolgic Side-Scrolling Action-Adventure! Cave Story was published in 2004, but despite it's modern release, it still proves to bring back memories of the old-fashioned side-scrolling games such as Metroid and Castlevania. You will find this game to be intuitive in gameplay and extraordinarily addicting because of its simplicity and how well it integrates all of the games componets to make this one of the most enjoyable games out there!

Caveman Ugh Lympics

Here is a release to celebrate the successful conclusion of the 2004 olympic games. A very interesting release from Dynamix, Caveman Ugh-lympics is one of my favourite olden-day sports game. Even to this day I find the game very original and fun to play. The game takes the Olympic Games idea and moulds it until nothing is left but a Flintstone like mass of fun and enjoyment. Up to 6 people can play the game and be ready to crush your keyboard...

Clue Master Detective

Have you ever wanted to be a detective? To solve crimes that are beyond understanding for most human beings? To be listed in the phone book of Scotland Yard, and to be known among their best investigators as the master detective? Well then... you´ll have to find some other game.

Dungeon Master

Even though the game was made in 1987 for the Atari ST (and a PC port was made two years later) the fanbase is quite big today. This 'mother of all rpg's' was certainly groundbreaking when it appeared, both in gameplay and graphics. The 3D first person perspective was still rather unheard of in those days, as most games were side- or topview. The fact that you'd have a team of 4 characters that you could each specialise and the huge dungeon...

Eternal Daughter

An interesting story line makes the game that much more fun! As Mia, you will be the main character. She has been enslaved her whole life and is now ready for liberation. By taking her through a series of levels and beating end bosses you can help free Mia and her people. Robots will get in the way and try to keep you under the yoke of slavery, but you can destroy them as you move along... or if you are a gentler soul, you can befriend them!...

Final Fantasy Endless Nova

The game is set in a solar system with the sun in the beginning stages of a super nova. For some reason it will not explode andyears go by with people forgetting about the danger. A war over 400 years ago left a once mighty nation in ruins. For decades the people of this nation wander aimlessly on the planet Coyas not able to form a new civilization. After an unknown scientist discovers space travel and a way to make asteroids habitable...

Final Fantasy VII The Dark Cloud

The game operates on a turn-based system of battle but differently from the Super Nintendo version's of Final Fantasy, in that you see the enemies from a first person perspective. In regards to the story, it actually is an interesting idea that works. Because it relates back to the original and builds on the possible ‘what if’ scenario that could have happened, so it is not out there and totally different that will make you wonder what is...

Gate 88

Gate 88 is an action packed, space based real time strategy (RTS) game. It is a unique combination of of Asteroid and an RTS game. You will compete against and endless stream of enemy bases for as long as you can handle the fight. Upgrading your ship and defending your base is just the beginning, as you fight to keep control of space.

Gateway 1

Frederick Pohl's Gateway is a text adventure of the kind Legend Ent. excelled at making. It was made in 1992, based on the books of Frederick Pohl, and while the plot may sound a cliché, it's actually not half bad once you get into it. The fact that you're playing the role of a prospector means that you're bound to visit a bunch of different planets, each one different and each one offering new puzzles.

King Quest 1

The story in the game is quite short and it only contains one page of text, making it very short. You start as Sir Graham, just outside the castle and when you met King Edward, he tells you that you must go on a quest, because King Edward is dying and if you manage to complete this quest you will inherit the throne and also because your kingdom is weak and poor and if you get these 3 things, your kingdom will become strong and wealthy. You...

Knytt Stories

Explore the wonderful world of Knytt! Knytt's Stories is the highly anticipated follow up to the popular freeware game Knytt, and in many ways, it's better than its predecessor. This game is a dazzling platformer with a unique approach to game play. First off, you don't play one huge game - instead, Knytt Stories is actually a collection of weird, beautifully atmospheric short games. Each level is its own little adventure. One level is...

Legends

Legends' graphics and gameplay are highly reminiscent of Zelda. It's got the same graphical style, with bright, cheerful colours and cartoon-ish, top-down characters. The gameplay's more action/exploration-oriented than Zelda, though. You'll be walking from one part of the country to another to fetch items, beat bosses, build up your life again, etc. Also, after beating a boss, you'll get a small, timed mini-game. What the game is, depends on...

Maniac Mansion Deluxe

Maniac Mansion throws you into one of it's characteristic traps from the very get go. Once you are able to get into the mansion, one of your characters will stumble into the misfortune of being locked into a dungeon by Nurse Edna. This trap is set off by walking past the kitchen sink and unfortunately it is pivotal to have at least two characters free to beat the game. There are several similar traps that slowly deplete characters which...

Might and Magic 2

Old game. The Sequel to the successful Might and Magic I, it boasted better graphics, a larger world, but still pretty much the same game engine and presentation. Embark on a glorious journey then save the world of CRON and yourself. A balanced party is a necessity in this game. There are several locations and items that are restricted to certain genders, alignments, or races. A party made up of Good Human Males won't get you very far. Time...

Ninja Loves Pirate

It's easy to love

Pandemonium

Pandemonium is a semi 3D platformer. The bright colors and awesome backgrounds make sure that the game is pure eyecandy. Although the characters look squary, they're well-done for their time. As you follow the path you have to take, the whole scenery turns along, background included. You'll see things to come in the far distance from some camera angles because of this, and you can see parts you'll visit in the future in that level in the...

Prehistorik

Hello, I am a caveman. It is not easy to live a long life nowadays, and because of that, people are forgotten quite quickly, which is the reason why I am writing this journal. I hope you will not get bored reading it!

Quest for Glory 4

For those of you who haven't played Quest for Glory series: it all started in 1989 when Sierra created first game, combining classic third person point and click adventure with RPG (upgradable statistics, side quests, battles) and on-the-edge humour. Five installments have been released so far. 4 1/2 mixes ripped-off VGA graphics with original story and potentially offensive dialogues and narrator's comments. It is heavily inspired by first...

Rick Dangerous is an adventurer from the first half of the 20th century. He lives in London, but goes out exploring or fighting bad guys, such as the invading aliens. Pressing each button you see, rushing into things head-first or taking the seemingly safe passage are...

Beyond that, Zelda Classic allows the development of new quests that can use the traditional graphics or enhanced graphics, as well as new enemies, items, and challenges.
