This is a befitting sequel to Brainiversity, a brain training game from 3 Blokes Studio. It is basically targeted with the purpose of giving our grey matter its daily dose of exercise and keep it functioning alright. It is a bit too similar to its predecessor and so can often seem like a clone but the pleasant variety in the 24 games and the way they are presented add a new dimension to Brainiversity 2. There are four broad categories of questions with six games in each. Math, Language, Memory and Analysis are the basic subject areas you would be challenged in. You start off with just 4 games and gather Brain Bucks as you play which unlocks a range of other brain teasers. As for the different types of questions, maths as the name suggest deals with various quantitative aspects like keeping track of a running equation, figuring out a tip on a menu or being given the answer but selecting the question. In the Memory games you are expected to keep in mind certain details or patterns while the ones on Language test your ability to use words, or unscramble them. The pleasant diversions come in the form of unique mini-games and unlockable trophies for achieving certain specific feats. The simplistic interface and navigation coupled with the ease of monitoring your progress through charts and graphs make the sequel a really enjoyable game. Overall a challenging puzzle game which is fun all the way and a cheaper alternative to similar console games.
