The peaceful Kitten Island is under siege by some aliens and it is upon you to rescue the cute little kittens from getting abducted. That is not all, you would need to care for the kittens and keep them happy during their stay at your Kitten Sanctuary. A cuddly kitten game with over 50 adorable kittens to be rescued, Kitten Sanctuary is an amazing Match 3 puzzle game. You perform two entirely distinct tasks in the game-solve match 3 puzzles and look after the rescued kittens. Your creative tile matching skills would help in freeing the kittens from the aliens’ trap. Then they have to be brought to the sanctuary and taken good care of. The tile matching game is just like any other—adjacent tiles need to be swapped to make groups of 3. The only addition in this game is that you can swap tiles diagonally and move tiles into blank spaces which give you endless matching possibilities. The rest of the game consists of feeding, caring and collecting resources to keep your kittens happy. Each round lets you collect three kinds of resources and if you can gather them all before the level is over, your kittens get a mood bonus. Apart from tackling trap boards and obstacles, you need to occasionally play with your kittens and buy nice decorations to liven up the sanctuary. There are two modes in the game: normal and tricky which are both fun and enjoyable. You can collect power-ups like bomb and fireball tiles, which destroy everything in a limited proximity, shuffle tiles, and time-stopping tiles and there are obstacles such as basket obstacles and locked tiles. To add to the variety in the game, each kitten has specific character traits and 3 different sanctuaries to unlock. The tropical themed music and the cartoonish 2D graphics add a nice touch to this amazing game.
