Pirate Island Pirate Island is a match-three game but unlike match-three games that we're used to, where in order to match three or more items you swap neighboring objects here we have slightly different way of playing. We pick up an object and place it somewhere else on the board to match three or more of those same objects horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Once we placed it the object whose place its taken gets picked up so now we have to find the way to match it. You have to think two steps ahead before you choose which object to pick. To win a level you have to eliminate the tiles underneath the objects. Some objects are locked so you have to make two matches to destroy the tiles. There are four power-up available and to set them off you need to make chain of four or more items to match. There are also two bonuses which you can pick up: more time and a hammer with which you can destroy the tiles or unlock the objects. Interluded mini-games like picture puzzles or memory games are nice addition but if you just want to get on with the game there is handy skip button. Graphics is appealing with variety of beautiful backgrounds but the special treats are 3D dancing skeletons. Pirate Island has 61 stages and each one is worth playing. So what are you waiting for?
