Introduction:
When it comes to making games, the best ideas come from real life situations but with a lot of imagination and exaggeration to what has really happened and the end result is usually a gamble, but there are times when that gamble pays out really good. The end result is somewhat unknown at the beginning of the game as the story starts to develop only after a couple of levels after it has begun.
Gameplay:
The heroine of our story, Anna, has received a very nice souvenir from a vendor of souvenirs who was looking just the right person for this item. After you have received it, only a few moments later, before even you could take a good look at it, all hell breaks loose upon you. Everything that could have happened to you happened and the worst part of all of this is that you don’t even remember anything. The game has a very specific approach to the hidden object searches, creating a gameplay that not only keeps you searching constantly without losing the edge and interest, but it constantly makes you wanting more of it. This is made in such a way that you are constantly searching for hidden items, but the purpose of those items is constantly changed making it interesting to find them, and the story that lies behind those items changes a bit too. The search for the items is pretty extensive at times, as you can be looking anywhere for all types of items, moving items, using them to get to other items, visit areas over again to find the item that you need, and so forth… But some items are too stubborn and can’t be dealt with in normal way, so the game offers you the possibility to blast them using hyper-space molecular transporter, or a zapper to be more precise. That zapper simply zaps items into another dimension, and you can search the area that was left opened, as the item will return to its rightful place after some time. This is only a part of a bigger picture that you get with this game. Besides the fact that they all compel to the game in multiple ways, they can get on your nervous a couple of times during the game. This is because when you know you have found an item that you will need in the game, you can’t pick it up, because it is not currently on the list of items you have on the screen. This won’t happen just once, because as you get familiar with the game and you know what you should be looking for that you might need sometimes during the following game, it just takes you apart. Because of the games wide specter of options used for different items, it is not surprising that at couple of times, you will find yourself without answer and will have to resort to the hint option. The answer will surprise you more than once, as the solution to you problems is just a simple click that needed moving an item to the side. The hint system is very generous, a 20 second recharge, and the objects are, on my scale, about a 3, not very hard to find expect for some examples like previously mentioned. There is a scorekeeper for those of you who want some replay value insofar as trying to beat your score. There is a 100 point penalty for using a hint, both in the scenes and in the skip penalty hog scene. When it comes to this skipping you will mostly use it in the mini-games part. Besides the standard hidden objects part, there will be mini-games like jigsaw, but also those based on the game to make the entire experience additionally better. Those games are mostly based on assembling things, but if you don’t feel like playing it, there is the skip button for you to choose. However for using this option, you have to earn your credits for this and you do that by solving hidden object sequences. This gives the game even more ‘something’ that it needs to become and stay a very interesting game. Between the levels a map appeared telling you where you have been so far, so if you have some questions about where you are located you don’t have to worry about that.
Graphics and sound:
The graphics of the game are kind of mixed up, as they contain both qualities and flaws. The qualities of the games graphics is that everything is bright and clear and you definitely won’t have any problems concerning that, but the rest of the details that make the picture usually good, are simply not there. Music of the game however is a thing for itself, and like in the real world, every song has its own listener. For me it was something above average, a very fitting music for this game.
