A hidden object game comes alive with Daniel Defoe's classic story. Set in the 18th century, it traces Robinson Crusoe’s life as the only survivor in a ship wreck. He finds himself on a Caribbean island and needs to construct a new boat to sail back home. Thus begins an epic saga of fighting battles with cannibals, visiting a lost village and exploring the interiors of the desert island as Robinson embarks on an exciting adventure. He looks around the ship to find provisions and accidentally discovers the ship’s blueprints which can be used to reconstruct the vessel and help him reach home!! After six chapters of frenzied object searching you return to the shipyard to look at how the ship reconstruction has progressed with the materials you collect. The basic gameplay primarily involves searching for objects in each scene and a generic term is used to refer to the items to be found. Each chapter in the game is a new location ranging from a forest, temple or a swamp to a desolate well or maybe even Robinson’s house. Apart from pointing to the hidden objects, you would notice glittering spots in each scene indicating puzzles which need o be solved. The amazing variety and challenge make each brain-bending puzzle a delight to solve. You will play a nice type of traditional piping game with flowers and roots or a memory game with melody played on flutes. The creativity and innovative designing of the puzzles make this an addicting game. There are some light inventory puzzles to solve as well. The mini games are stimulating as well and perfectly blend well with the theme of each level. One particular game involves matching two birds based on the different tweets they made and there are more such unique ones to add to the overall appeal of the game. There is an option also to skip a mini game, if you don’t like it. The two modes in the game: Relaxed and Survivor lets you choose the way want to play. The relaxed mode is basically untimed and has ten hints to help you locate difficult items. I would say a perfect choice for those looking for a casual game. The Survivor mode has a timer and fewer hints which make the gameplay challenging and a shade difficult. This one sure is for hidden object game enthusiasts. The graphics and background score nicely complement the spirit and aura of the game. The scenes are detyailed and beautiful coupled with the classical soundtrack which adds to the delightful setting. A traditional legend presented as a thrilling adventure in one great hidden object game, this one is a sure entertainer.
