The objective of the game is to find all needed items by investigating various rooms such as the library, front gate, stage, and the mysterious composer’s room. There are a series of musical notes at the bottom of the screen and clicking on each opens up a riddle which needs to be solved to find one object. You can take the help of the hint feature if you cannot find an item or simply move into another room. In the free hidden object games and puzzle genre, this version of Forgotten Ridles is a fresh perspective. The game has an added feature called the secret room puzzle where you take objects from the bottom panel and place it in its correct location. These objects change the scene and after you finish placing all the objects, the actual setting of the room is revealed. There are two modes of gameplay, the apprentice mode and the Archeologist mode. The former is a bit more relaxed and has a lot more hints than the latter.
