Sheeparcade exclusive review:

The third installment is here of the mogul series. The game is still focused on one thing, and one thing only, hotel business. Hotel Mogul and Vacation Mogul were good, but this installment shows how every new release of the game should look like. What would be a game story if love is not involved within it? Julia, our new heroine, is in love with a man named Antonio, but the problem is that Antonio is in love only in skiing. He doesn’t see anyone or anything except them. This impossible love breaks Julia’s heart into pieces, but something happens that will turn the paths of destiny in her favor. Her Aunt Sue is in trouble with her sky resort and needs help in managing it. She will do anything if you come to help her (if like you already aren’t jumping in joy). Who says that you can’t profit from the family business in more ways than money. The main goal of the game is to make sure business in the sky resort keeps flowing and if you can develop it and upgrade it would be nice. The game is set in 40 levels that need to be finished with average gameplay for 5-10 hours, depending what you are aiming for and the replaying of the levels. In most of the cases it will approximately go about 8h because every player that starts playing the game will thrive to the best possible score and accomplishing it from the first try, especially if you aren’t a veteran of the genre, is almost impossible. After scoring an average time you will see the silver and gold time possibilities, and what time you need to reach to win it. Those trophies aren’t just for decoration, as they provide you for points that you will really need through the game. For some levels you will have to purchase a certain upgrade to be able to play them (and reach the related goals) at all. Apart from that there are also buildings you can construct and enhance outside of the regular levels which will provide you with permanent bonuses. That includes faster workers, cheaper materials, or more time to finish levels. For all of this you need bonus points and you get bonus points from earning the gold or silver time, the faster the better. Now it is up to you to start building all the building that you need to have on your sky resort. Goals can include a certain number of specific buildings, upgrades, simply earning money, reaching a specific amount of regular income, or attracting more guests. There are three sorts of building that you can build on your resort. First one is where the guests are saying and you will be collecting rent from such places. The second sorts of buildings are the buildings which are made for attracting more guests to the resort and with that to increase your income of money. The third sort of building is the shops. Shops are all the same as they earn you money depending on how much guest are there in the shops reach. All of the buildings have upgrade levels, and they can be expended from one to three stars. For example the guest rooms can go from cabins to exclusive hotel rooms, building that attract the people are more modern and popular and the shops get their reach for the guest expanded more. You will be able to buy other new building on the empty plots. The plans for the buildings will cost you bonus points, but the buildings themselves cost you money, not those points. For some levels you will have to purchase a certain upgrade to be able to play them (and reach the related goals) at all. Besides the regular buildings, there are other special buildings that can be built in the special section outside the game levels. Those buildings are used to improve your gaming and make it easier, on a permanent basis. That includes faster workers, cheaper materials, or more time to finish levels. In addition to the time management portion of the game, Ski Resort Mogul also features the occasional hidden object scene as well. You'll be presented with a list of objects, each represented by a dark silhouette, and a cluttered scene in which to find them. The hidden objects are nothing special to work about, and if you have no lust in clearing them they are easily skip-able. But the point of them being in the game is to relax you from time to time, from the intense tempo of the main gameplay. The game will stun you the most in its graphics, as you will see details done so beautifully that you will stop and stare for a few seconds from time to time. All of this put together gives a game that will entertain you for many hours, and make sure you don’t feel bored at all throughout the whole game.
