The Mysterious City: Cairo, is a hidden object game that follows two characters, professor archeologist and a young women on their quest of finding the artifacts missing somewhere in Cairo. They have to find three ancient artifacts which were stolen while being transported to a museum in Alexandria. The protagonists have seven days to investigate, search and find clues which are objects listed or silhouetted. Each day contains eight levels including various mini-games such as a mixture of puzzles or comparing game where you are given two pictures and you need to find a difference between them. You can play the game in two modes represented by the hourglasses: regular which gives you 45 minutes a day and relaxed which gives you 100 minutes per day. As you’re making progress it gets more and more demanding and even if the hint option is available it’s not recommended to be used very often since it takes 2 minutes of your time away. The scenes are beautiful photographs of places in Cairo and every few levels you finish you earn a nice wallpaper. The Mysterious City: Cairo is a great game for the beginners but it can also be a pleasant and challenging game for those who are familiar to the genre especially in higher levels.
