The story revolves around the adventures of an archaeology student named Daniel and his professor during their investigations of the great history of Egypt. You are awarded bonus points for finishing up levels faster and plenty of mini games add to the overall appeal of the game. The basic gameplay involves moving colored stones in a grid. A matching trio is removed from the board. An interesting feature of this game is that if a match is not properly made, then more stones are added to the game board, adding to the challenge. Once the board is full, you have to restart the level. Apart from match 3 puzzles, every level has specific goals like assembling pieces of a broken picture or fitting in the right key to open a lock. The game introduces a feature called lattice which adds a new dimension to puzzle games. You would have a set of stones which can be removed moving a special tile to its holder. Puzzle levels are all timed and there are awards on finishing it faster than the set time. The built in tutorial in the game is helpful. There are 6 different types of power-ups and as many varieties of obstacles which add to the variety in the game.
