Escape from Paradise When the relaxing cruise became the ultimate nightmare and threw you and your fellow passengers on an uncharted island in the South Pacific you never knew how much fun it could actually be until Escape from Paradise from developer Gogii Games came on stage. You as a leader of these unfortunate passengers, have to organize, take care of them and direct them toward the goal which is ultimately returning home. You start with just a few castaways and each has four needs that must be satisfied. There are three skills that they have to acquire and which they will need to overcome challenges given by the strange native behind the Tiki mask. Once you succeed these challenges which could be building huts, digging wells or constructing bridges the Tiki masked man gives your tribe a new tool and teaches them new techniques. As you progress with your game you get more members to the tribe and they need to advance their skills to overcome more challenging tasks. Throughout the game you unlock various mini-games and completing them successfully helps you to increase skill level of your tribe or earn helpful amounts of food and wood . The game consists of 30 challenges and 17 mini-games which include Rock Toss Marbles, Tribal Checkers, Word Jumble, Chinese Checkers, Towers of Hanoi, Sudoku and they way it is all combined is impressive. After Virtual Villagers and Tropix one would think that this game doesn’t have much more to offer but Escape from Paradise rejoins the best of these two worlds and makes unique combination of adventure, simulation, and real-time management that will definitely attract many players.
