Game description:
Anny's father is doing research in the jungle and has enlisted her assistance in financing the project. While her father is away investigating the ruins of a Mayan tribe, she must stay behind and figure out how to pay for the land that is being used as a base camp. Her solution, a bustling organic farm of course! Join Anny as she uses her green thumb to get the farm off the ground and going. Grow crops, gather food, construct buildings, and sell your wares in the city. Direct and educate the workers to become more efficient and defend against pesky bugs. Introduction:
When it comes to family everyone would do as much as possible what lies in their possibilities to help in any way possible. Some can help only with moral support, while others have the material support and of course the ones that interest us, are the ones with the ideas. There were many times in my life when suddenly my qualities have been shown useful, more than I could think off. There is something similar happening in the Farm Tribe and here is an intro. Farm Tribe is a very exciting game to play for anyone because this game isn’t just about farming, but much much more. If you‘re ready to farm, explore, produce and so on you’ll be pleases with this game.
Gameplay:
So, the game begins with two main characters, Anny and her father. Anny’s father is an archaeologist, who buys a plot of land in Mayan territory in order to research Mayan territory and maybe find buried hidden items. However, what happens is that in order to do it he’ll also need something to live on, and the only possibility is farming. So Anny decides to help him to pay for everything by graining the farm, researching technologies and hiring workers to help her in the whole process, because her father needed a huge loan to buy the land. Because there is a nearby village dad’s assistant suggested Anny, to set up the farm and sell them the products and so support themselves. She finds the idea acceptable and so begins the adventure of organizing the farm while at the same time you solve the mysteries of old Mayan’s tribe. So this is a mixture of management and strategy gameplay. As it’s the beginning you don’t have a lot, but just one plot by the river and campfire and a small hut. You won’t have free time, because you’ll be occupied through the game. You’ll be given goals which will keep you occupied, where you’ll be asked to build, research, plant, hire workers, sell products and so on. But you have to keep in mind that these aren’t people who will keep on working until you tell them otherwise. They also need a place to live their own name; they’ll have skills in constructing, and researching, and also will need food, drinks, break from the work, socialization to other people and relaxing. Each member of the tribe will understand what to do depending on what you want from him or her. They will fulfill their needs by themselves and resume their previous work by themselves so you don’t have to keep an eye on them all the time and you and you can be focused on other things. The main goal of your job is to have a profitable farm which will pay your bills. At the start, your workers will search for things like fish, berries, mushrooms, honey, raspberries, bananas, cabbage and sell them after. With the money you get for them, the best thing to do is to buy equipment for planting and harvesting crops like potatoes, tomatoes and so on and of course sell them too. If you want more money, you can get it by getting recipes and sell the finished products which give you more money. You can prepare things like salads, ketchup, and yogurt and so on, but don’t forget that your workers also need food, so don’t sell everything you make. Leave something for them and the rest what is left can be sold then. You’ll also have the orders from the clients which will give you more profit. On the other hand, you’ll have collectibles like bugs, butterflies, pieces of a secret map which can be found all around the map so you’ll have to look for him and they’re small so it will take your time but you’ll have something to do while you wait for other things to be finished. There is also another thing to look for, and those are worms which will try to get to your storage and this is why you can’t leave the game because they will eat your food but the good thing is that they’re slow so you’ll be able to catch them on time. Now, considering the products like berry jam, meal made of fish and potatoes are very important, because they give you money. You’ll use the money to buy new equipment, hire more workers and construct new building. You’ll have to be careful with the money because you won’t be able to hire worker for all the jobs you’ve got, but you’ll have to first hire workers for the jobs which are more needed and later on the rest of the workers for the jobs which are more needed and later on the rest of the workers for other jobs. However, you’ll have to keep in mind other things which appear in the game. At one point you’ll find yourself preparing lots of meals, followed by other guests and suddenly the weather changes and you’ll need to stop your workers from those or other jobs and send them to clean up the place. But this is not everything you’ll get yourself into. Besides all of the quests which are given to you, you’ll also find other events exploring this game. You’ll discover things for which Anny’s dad has come to this place, and those are totems, scrolls, relics and you’ll find yourself in the amazing adventure spending a lot of time in this game and not realizing it, which means you’ll be entertained all the time. As already mentioned this game is a great mixture of farming, exploring, producing, attending others and entertaining them.
Graphics and sound:
The graphics of the game has some details very nicely done. The environment of the Mayan jungle is more than enough for any graphics designer to have enough ideas to create some sort of surroundings that will provide you with enough details, like the mill in the river. I always like this sort of things in games, and therefore I pretty much enjoyed it, even though I played a couple of similar games to this one.
