Game description:
During the middle ages many different kingdoms lay claim to the same lands. Only by meeting in battle can there be one true ruler. Defeating the other kingdoms however will take the cunning of a brilliant military strategist. Are you skilled enough to formulate a battle plan over woods, deserts, snow and lava that will result in being victorious? Command your troops and conquer the opposing armies to unify the land under your rule! Play more than 40 challenging levels strategizing troop movements for maximum attack and defense. Introduction:
Strangers stand in front of each other and are ready to lead their forces across. Men stand side by side, listen to their commander, thinking only of a battle in which only one side can be victorious and therefore become the master of the field. The slaughter begins, men don’t mind the water; they have their weapons and shields in their hands, while they are listening to the formations to engage into the battle against the enemy, and they patiently wait for the order to attack. Using their might that is left inside of them, they start throwing spears at their enemies, while in the same time pulling out their swords and defend themselves with their shield. All around the warriors fall and some are held down, while the sound of swords colliding against one another spreads through the battlefield. So if you have any interest in this kind of a game, where you’ll have to conquer the lands and its kingdoms then this is a game for you.
Gameplay:
There is a land with castles, knights, crusades and the main goal is to conquer the land and make it your own, and of course to protect it from invaders or you’ll be conquered and lose your own property the same way as you have won it. To do this you’ll have to be a great warrior who is not afraid to show his power and will by taking over the land. You’ll do it step by step, building after building leaving you to make strategies to decide what building has the current priority at hand, as some are controlled by you, some are controlled by the enemy and there is also the neutral side. To take over the land you’ll have to take and make smart decisions. The best thing is to start with one property that fills itself with units. Then you’ll have to gain more property and to do so you’ll send half of your troops to attack buildings you choose, and if you have more warriors than the enemy you’ll win the battle immediately. You’ll start with gathering troops there, but be careful with you defense, because you’re expending and so becoming more vulnerable. All of the buildings are located in the map, and they are built. To occupy the enemy land you will have to gain all of the buildings in that area which are under the control of the enemy, and only then will you gain more land. As you expand, besides using just soldiers, there will be other things like watchtowers which have units and can dispose of invading troops. There are also cavalry units which are far better than simple soldiers. They are faster and give each soldier and strength and a weakness. Now, you’ll also have to think of increasing your troops, and upgrading the buildings, which will take half of your units but it’s a risk worth of taking if you want to hold more troops with which you increase your defense and strength of your attack. So if you have 20 units you’ll need to use half of your men to attack, but if you’re attacking the building with 25 units, you’ll need more men, so just click on one of your buildings which enable you to ask for reinforcements to support you current attack, which ensures victory for you. Now this isn’t all you get in this game. This is the game placed in the middle ages so you’ll have the opportunity to use other things in battles, like an artifact and spells which you use to severely damage your enemy. The game gives you many options to use, like building and so on, but it won’t help you to conquer the enemy immediately. You’ll have to use techniques and your own ideas to plot against the enemy and use all the options in the best way you can to damage or destroy enemy, which will need a lot of your experimentation. This is not short game as there are 40 levels, so you’ll need a lot of time to experiment, plot upgrade, increase your troops, control and defend you land, attack the land which isn’t yours, and all this can keep you interesting and entertained for some time and maybe the best thing is you don’t need more players to keep it going.
Graphics and sound:
The graphics of the game is quite decent as it won’t impress you, but also it won’t disappoint you. It is a standard release of its age leaving you to play the game and enjoy the gameplay which is combined with some very easy interface to complete the overall impression on the game. Enjoy it…
