Not only can you complete a variety of achievements to earn extra coins and experience, you'll also create a bustling and productive farm to your own liking. Sheeparcade exclusive review:
Everybody was always keen on eating organic food as it is the healthiest one, but besides being the healthiest one it is also the most expensive one, because it is hard to grow it in large amounts nowadays. Farming is one of the oldest ways of how we got our food, but if you are living in the city, the word farming, you will only use or here in some newspapers or in some sentences context. But still people can live without their vegetables, and that is where you come in to the plan. The people of Evergreen Valley haven’t tasted a vegetable for a long time now, and you being the new owner of a nearby farm, well it all fit in pretty nicely together. But it isn’t as easy as it sounds because you have to start from scratch and work your way through by expanding your farm until you can meet all of the demands of the customers. When you look at the game, you can pretty much imagine a game like Farmville, and it’s plowing, seeding and harvesting, which can last from 4 hours to 4 days. It doesn’t go in Country Harvest like that and there is no long waiting periods. In fact it is just the opposite, everything is done in a fast paces way. The faster you work the better the results are for you and the more experience and money you earn. It’s all about timing everything right and seeding the right vegetables to grow when you will probably need them so you can export or make another product out of that vegetable. When the time comes for harvesting you have a limited time period in which you can harvest those vegetables and then use them. Missing the time period for their harvesting means their withering. But unlike the Farmville when that happens and you just plant new seeds, you have another time period in which you can’t use that part of the land, until the land ‘recuperates’. But what’s so great about farming all the time? Well everything you do in this game must be done separately and most of the jobs are done here by you personally. You will be doing a lot of micro-management, but that doesn’t and frankly would be too much for any player in later levels. That’s why the game introduces workers that you can hire, to be more exact three of them in total. Workers can be instructed to plow, seed or harvest vast tracts of land, but only once these patches are ready for it. You can queue actions as well, but once again only if the pieces of land you target are ready for that action. Basically you will be doing a lot of map searching to know what’s next to do and for what further action do you need to prepare yourself. Every city will give you their list of groceries that needs to be filled for you to move forward to the next town. The game is without any time limit, except the truck that comes from time to time and stays there for a certain period of time. As your experience will be growing so will the option in the game. You will get new facilities to use and new crops to seed. The facilities, like previously said, are mostly to get a new product by processing harvested crops. Those facilities can be also upgraded for two additional levels. There are over fifteen different crops that you can seed and harvest, and pretty much you will process them all into different products, but in the meantime you need to storage them somewhere. That extra storage is gotten by building silos; while there are other building like the workshops and cabins that improve the speeds of your workers. Probably the hardest thing about this game is managing the workers in the game, because you have to combine them with the tools they are working with, and that can get sometimes interrupted accidently or by the game itself. There is another option if you want to earn additional experience points, and that is shooting crows above your farm. Frankly I didn’t use this option, as I don’t know what to think about it? This is a game, but some persons, especially children can get wrong idea out of this one. The game will also offer you to decorate your farm in many ways and as you advance you will get new decorations which you can use in the field. The game isn’t perfect, far from it, but it does give you what it is intended to. You will come across a couple of glitches or game behavior which you probably won’t like, but isn’t almost every game on the casual market like that especially the first releases! The game developers will definitely have some correction with this game, but if they ‘hear the words’ of the players they might create a game which can get to the top of farming games.
