Hitman: Absolution - The Original Agent 47 is Back

David Bateson will be lending his voice for Hitman: Absolution...

Few days ago, the Danish video game development company, IO Interactive (usually abbreviated to IOI), announced that David Bateson, long-time voice actor, would return to voice the Agent 47 in the upcoming Hitman: Absolution.

David Bateson was the one who gave voice to the cold blooded assassin since 2000. And it was previously stated that he was not selected to voice the agent 47 this time. However, the Brand Director of IOI, Jon Brooke, says "Bateson and IO Interactive happen to be bed fellows for more than ten years and just like almost all long term relationships oftentimes absence tends to make one's heart grow fonder. Looking back I feel we were simply playing hard to get."

David Bateson will be joining the talent associated with Hitman: Absolution, which includes William Mapother (LOST), Keith Carradine, Marsha Thomason, Vivica Fox, Powers Boothe and Shannyn Sossamon.

Hitman: Absolution releases worldwide on November 20, 2012 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
