News is that Microsoft might be working on a new 7-inch Surface tablet, which is Xbox gaming-specific. According to multiple sources, currently Microsoft is developing a new Xbox Surface tablet that would most probably include a high-bandwidth RAM and custom ARM processor, which are specially designed for the gaming tasks.
The Microsoft’s new Xbox Surface could probably be developed to compete with the newly released iPad Mini by Apple, which is showing pretty huge sales. It seems that the tablet could be altered in order to accommodate a new unannounced SoC by Intel. And it will not be operating a Windows full version, but a custom kernel of the Windows OS instead.
However, it is reported that they are still working on the final implementation of the tablet.
