Till now, Xbox gaming was a personal and social gaming. You couldn't move it to other devices, you couldn't make it visible to your family and friends if they didn't have Xbox. On the other hand, Games that release for Xbox wasn't releasing for PC at the same time. 

It looks like something came to change the scenario. You can now move your console experience to your PC. This opportunity will be available from Windows 10 which is an upcoming version of Microsoft Windows. 

A lot of people are thinking that as Sony made an agreement with the Samsung smart TV, this is the answer of Microsoft to that. It might be true but at the end of the day, this will be better for gamers.
