If you are a gamer, and especially if you are a PlayStation fan then you already know what is happening around the world for the last two months. Well, don't worry if you were too much into gaming that you did not even realize what has happened. If you are one of the unlucky ones then you did hear about what happened and it was simple. There was a news all over the internet: 

"PlayStation 5 is going to hit the market soon"

Well, this was a shocking news for almost everyone. Where a new console release news make people happy, this was totally opposite and there are reasons. What are those? 

You see, buying console is costly. Whenever people buy a console, they assume that they will use that console for at least five to six years. The benefit of having the latest console of the market is immense. You can brag about it which is just one mini part. There are a lot of other things. One big thing is that you do not have to worry about the graphics and other aspects. 

There is a problem that all pc gamers and old console gamers have. Whenever there is a new game around the corner, they start calculating and wondering that whether the game will work on their game station or not. If you have the latest gaming console, you do not need to think about that at all. For example, if you have a PlayStation 4 or an Xbox one in today's world, you do not need to even think about the next game. Buy anything you like and the chance is 100% that the game will run on your computer. 

So to summarize everything, if you have the latest console, you can play all latest games that will release in the world for the next ten odd years. This is a big assurance and that is why a lot of people go for consoles. Yes! Trust me. This is one of the reasons. 

Now you understand that why everyone were in shock when they came to know that PlayStation 5 is going to release right? Well, the good news is that it was a scam and the console will not release on anytime sooner. 

There was another confusion that whether PlayStation 4.5 will be there in the market and the answer is again negative. The product will not be there in the market anytime sooner. Sony is super happy with their PlayStation. 

Since the birth of PlayStation, Sony has already sold more than 100 million units to the public.

However, Xbox is also not far behind, both consoles are not head to head when it comes to the market.

According to Devinder Kumar (AMD), there are indeed next gen consoles on its way. And you need to take note that AMD supplies processors for both Xbox and PlayStation.

Shuhei Yoshida hinted that the upcoming PlayStation 5 will be on the hands of the developers as they are given full freedom to develop the upcoming console. So what can we expect for the upcoming next-gen consoles?

Well, now is the rise of VR technology, and there are a bunch of VR devices coming out in the market next, the question is how well are these games going to function in these upcoming devices. Could PS5 and Xbox Two take the VR route?

Another speculation is that PS5 and Xbox Two might dump the hard disk and will be a streaming device. After all, most games now can be downloaded over the web. But one of the most popular rumored specs for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Two is that both consoles will have a 4K resolution and a backward compatibility.

But the whole thing will take at least 5 years from now if not more than that. It is not like Sony cannot make a PlayStation early. But there is no profit in that, right? So, they won't do it. Trust us and continue gaming.
