Nintendo has announced that the Pikmin 3, the real-time strategy video game, for Wii U will be released in next Spring. On a recent post on Nintendo’s website, they mentioned that Pikmin 3 is planned for release in the spring of 2013.
The release of the games will mark almost about five years since the creator of the game, Shigeru Miyamoto, announced to the public that a new version of the Pikmin game would be released at E3 2008. Later, in year 2010, Shigeru Miyamoto stated that the development process of the game was going on well, and the game would probably be released for Wii U at the E3 of 2011. However, after sometime, Nintendo officially announced that the game would hit the stores in E3 2012, a year later than expected.
According to the news, new Pikmin 3 would be supporting 100 Pikmin on screen at the same time and will add new flying Pikmin, which is pink.
