Under Defeat HD: Deluxe Edition is expected to hit the PS3 this fall. The Under Defeat HD is a remake of the 2006 Dreamcast game that was available only in Japan.
The remake is all set to hit the PlayStation 3s in the West for the very first time. However, the remake will feature a new 2-player mode and improved graphics. In addition, it will also come with a new 16:9 option, which is called the New Order Mode. The feature will allow the players to take advantage of the aspect ratio of widescreen TVs to double their play space.
The product marketing manager at Rising Star Games, Yen Hau stated that he is very excited about the release of Under Defeat HD: Deluxe Edition. "It has almost been 6 years since the release of the Dreamcast version of the game, and I'm very excited", he explained.
The game will be available for downloading on PlayStation Network for $29.99. In addition, you will also be able to buy it through the retail stores for the same price. However, the physical game pack will include all current patches and DLC, a digital art book, a soundtrack audio CD and a special letter from the game developers.
