As for the news, the new game, which is officially titled as Angry Birds Star Wars, will place the iconic birds of Rovio in the place of Star Wars characters.
The famous Red Bird is going to become the Luke Skywalker. The Big Brother Bird will play Chewbacca. And the Yellow Bird will be the coveted Han Solo.
The launch of the game will also accompany the release of a vast line of Angry Birds Star Wars merchandise that would promote the game. The line will range from kids apparel and bedding to toys. An Angry Birds Star Wars edition of Jenga is already available in the stores.
In the game, the Death Star will be portrayed in the shape of the head of a pig.
