When the Game, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD, arrived for PS 3 back in 2011, it was really good. In addition to that, another game by Oddworld Inhabitants, Munch’s Oddysee HD, will be also released for the PlayStation 3 pretty soon.
We have also learned that, while being released for PlayStation 3, additionally both these games will also be PlayStation Vita-bound. And currently the two popular game titles are in the course of getting ported, although there was no indication on a set release date. However, there is new news now.
One of the posts by Oddworld stated “Oddworld on the PlayStation VITA, Both Munch’s Oddysee HD and Stranger’s Wrath HD will arrive for PSP VITA very soon. We just have to get them completed and the through the QA team of Sony before we are able to release them. However, we do not think you will have to hold your breathes [sic] for too long.”
Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee was initially released for the Xbox back in 2001, in the early stage of the lifecycle of the console. In contrary, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath was initially released for Xbox in early 2005. As Vita seems to be lacking a tough library of forthcoming games, the word about anything released for the new handheld device of Sony is, indeed, great news.
